Cox Business My Account Dashboard

I assisted in the design of the Cox Business My Account Dashboard. This project was a comprehensive refresh initiative, shifting the page’s focus and priorities from billing and utilities to the user’s services with Cox Business. Through data analysis, we discovered that most user traffic post-login was directed towards managing services. For instance, users frequently logged in to manage their internet service.

To enhance the user experience, we emphasized and showcased the user’s services prominently. We introduced a brand new service location map that displayed the current status of services across all their business locations, which for some customers, could number in the thousands. This feature provided a significant initial benefit to the dashboard by offering a clear and immediate overview of their services.

Additionally, we consolidated helpful information that was previously housed on separate landing pages into a new right-hand widget section. This section quickly informed users about major data points such as billing amounts due, open support tickets, scheduled events and appointments, and more. These widgets also served as entry points to those utilities, allowing users to navigate naturally based on the information provided within the widget.

Overall, this dashboard refresh delivered greater value to the user by providing more information and options in a concise and effective design.
